CPD Presentations

CWO offers three CPD presentations

• Natural Stone Technical Presentation, which covers all aspects of stonework and is a more generalised overview of the subject.

• Relocation of Temple Bar is a case study of on of our most notable projects and provides a detailed description of the restoration and conservation aspects of stonework and the implications of projects of this nature, although it does touch briefly on other applications of stonework towards the end.

• Use of Lime in Building (From a Contractors Perspective) details a number of the many and various uses and applications of lime in construction, from new build to delicate conservation work and washes to pointing. The main objective is to give architects and specifiers an over view of the things that should be considered when specifying lime, the sorts of questions they should ask their contractor, and provide sufficient information for them to be confident when doing so.

These are presented by one of our Directors, usually accompanied by a colleague and take approximately one hour, ending with an open discussion where they will answer any questions you may have.

CWO provides handouts to accompany the presentation, and afterwards provides certificates for all attendees.
