Originally founded in 1965 to undertake the continuous restoration of Chichester's Norman Cathedral, CWO has nearly half a century of experience in the restoration and conservation of ecclesiastical buildings.
From mortar repairs and stone replacements, to cleaning, re-roofing, glass replacement, leaded light repairs, guttering and downpipe repair and restoration.
Our experienced, award winning masons and heritage bricklayers have also carried out extensions and alterations to churches and cathedrals across the South, in projects designed to maximise space, make the buildings more accessible to the public, or re-order internally.
CWO is equally at home with stone, brick and flint buildings, and has carried out work to some of the South's most prestigious ecclesiastical sites, including Christchurch Priory, St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, Westminster Cathedral, Brompton Oratory, and of course Chichester Cathedral.
CWO has also recently completed the second phase of work to Woodvale Crematorium in Brighton, which received two awards at the Sussex Heritage Awards in July this year.
