At CWO we pride ourselves on our training and development, although this has never been formally recognised. However in September 2008 a conscious decision was made to work towards Investors in People accreditation, which was achieved in August 2009.
The judging panel were impressed with CWO’s commitment to training and development and made the following comment:-
“The Panel was pleased to hear the emphasis that Cathedral Works Organisation Chichester puts on identifying and implementing appropriate skills training and promoting the resultant quality of work as such a key discriminator in retaining the customer base and expanding business opportunities. Identifying good training as a business opportunity rather than an unavoidable cost is considered the sign of a progressive organisation and is to be strongly encouraged. The Panel has no hesitation in endorsing the Assessors recommendations in Recognising Cathedral Works Organisation Chichester as an Investor in People. Congratulations to the whole team in this achievement”.
