For nearly half a century CWO has acquired considerable experience in the building restoration and historic building conservation from working on a wide range of listed buildings
CWO was originally formed to carry out the building conservation work to Chichester Cathedral and then later became an independent company specialising in all forms of historic and listed building conservation.
Although acknowledged stone specialists, CWO also has extensive experience in the restoration and repair of historic brickwork, lead work, stained glass windows and roofing. The external fabric of a historic building is CWO’s speciality.
CWO’s masons are versatile with their skills. As well as working and fixing natural stone they are able to carry out lime mortar repairs, stone repairs, shelter coating and all forms of conservation techniques.
Our masons also use their extensive knowledge of historic structures in providing their expertise and quality workmanship on historic building conservation making extensive repairs to ancient brick buildings , by removing bricks and natural stone where perished and replacing with new where required.
In listed building conservation, CWO masons have a close working relationship with clients and architects to provide the highest standard and quality of services expertly delivered on time and to the agreed budget.
