Christ Hospital foundation is an ancient charitable institution school and occupies a 1200 acre site designed by Sir Aston Webb. The building works were carried out from 1897 – 1902.
CWO carried out the repairs to a pair of 17 m high x 6 m wide bay windows which are an impressive feature on the Grade II Dining Hall within the Quadrangle.
Age and the effect of weather meant that the joints had become loose. CWO cleaned the stone work using the DOFF system. The glazing was then removed and the stonework repaired or replaced with new stone where necessary.
