The Monument, City of London

The Monument is one of the City of London's most outstanding landmarks and visitor attractions.

Designed by Sir Christopher Wren as a monument to the Great Fire in 1666, it is the tallest freestanding column in the world.

CWO is the Main Contractor on the major restoration of this 202ft high monument. Work started in July 2007 and is due to be completed in December 2008.
